Gram for gram the Gemini DUO is one of the highest performing lights on the market. A svelte and compact CNC design houses two CREE XM L2 U2 LED which produce a claimed 1500 lumen. The Heavily CNC casing is not only lightweight but acts as an efficient heatsink to dissipate heat.
The low profile design can be mounted on the helmet with the included helmet mount or on your handlebars with included simple o-ring system as an added bonus the Gemini DUO kit comes with a headbelt mount so you can use the headlight for that extra bit of adventure. At 63g for the head light can be mounted to the helmet which keeps neck strain minimal and the battery pack can be mounted to the helmet back to balance weight for an all-in-one solution.
The 15 lens produce a beam that is ideal for fast singletrack racing and riding. It has a focused point which tapers lightly at the edges to keep eye strain low and your concentration high. A neat feature with the DUO is that it can be programmed at any brighteness between 10-100% over 3 settings. This is quite unique as you can easily conserve battery power with custom settings, switch to low power for longer fireroad climbs and then switch back to brigh when the singletrack approaches.
The DUO includes either a 2cell or 4cell battery pack which use the high quality and reliable Samsung Lithium Ion batteries. With the 2 cell battery pack you will 1:30hrs on 100% or 4:30hrs on the 50% setting. The charger features battery overcharge protection and the light head itself has LED overheat protection.
