Serious Fun

Dedicated geometry and frame details to work in unison with fat, wide high volume tyres. The Booty frame was developed to be as stiff as possible without the need to "engineer" in extra comfort or flexion. This allows those 4.00" tyres do the work of numbing out trail buzz and really lets this bike ride like a high performance MTB - Responsive and agile. A sharp and stiff handling frame means it doesn’t ride sluggish or boaty and flicking it through tight technical trails means it responds in an instant leaving you with perfect trail feedback, mountains of fun and the ability to conquer terrain that may have even set you back on your burly 140mm trail bike.

Not forgetting that the frame details were designed around the new Rock Shox Bluto Fork which further aids in this bike's bump eating performance - traction in spades. Cornering supreme and control over gnarly terrain yet it’s still a bike that can be ridden all day long. The RS Bluto combined with the fat tyres and progressive geometry really makes this bike feel like it has more travel than it actually does.

Completely designed in Barcelona. Spain with one goal of making an ultra-versatile fat bike that was able to handle all types of terrain - If you were one of those riders that scoffed (or still scoffing) at the fat bike revolution - this is one bike that will really challenge that notion. To meet the target stiffness numbers at the head tube, BB and downtube MSC employed a number of techniques to extract every drop of performance out of its aluminium frameset - without the price heft of going to a full carbon frame.

A wide box section down tube flows with the tapered 1.5" head tube to join at the 83mm wide BB junction maximising weld surface area for over-the-top torsional stiffness. Ovalised chain and seat stays transmit your power efficiently while resisting any twist and flex that seems to be so common with some of the other manufacturer’s offerings. A triangulated top tube elegantly flattens to join at the seat tube which also makes it easier for shouldering or carrying through any hike-a-bike sections.

With clearance for 5" tyres, LDM S3 derailleur mount, 190mm thru-axle standard and progressive geometry the Booty checks all the boxes when it comes to performance and compatibility. It is currently only offered in one size (med) recommended for rider heights 165cm - 185cm.
