A true do-it-all mountain bike chock full of small details that will appeal to the bike geek that loves to ride hard and values the joy of a quality bicycle. It's a plain no fuss all black looks bad and evil. Subtle decals and classic diamond shaping - to the trained eye you know this bike means business. To the n00bs this is not a bike for you, you can get your toy bike in multiple colours at ToyAssUs
Following many of European bike manufacturers that "get it" it starts with a high leverage ratio to sag point which pushes more shock per travel - This improves sensitivity off the top of the stroke and is further enhanced with roller bearings around the linkage and shock eyelets - smooooth. Active suspension improves traction, grip and confidence when riding technical trails. You will straight up notice how supple the initial travel is and extra comfort from the the first few pedals. It also benefits that you do not have to compromise with a soft rear shock - for comfort and saggy pedal performance.
Geometry is inline with the biggest trends available today - With a 160mm fork, 66.3 head angle and is adjustable with the Syntace Variospin -1.5/ +-1.5. A long front centre pairs with really short stems and wide bars for high speed stability but great nimbleness in tight technical trails.
Pinkbike says "The 301 is light, fast and uber capable in the most challenging terrain."
The MK12 301 comes with the rear shock, Variospin 0 headset and the Syntace X-12 Rear axle.
Wheel Sizes and the DuoLink
Syntaces has the answer to defuse all wheel size arguments - The Liteville 301 is offered in any wheel size imaginable with any combination of odd wheel. For smaller riders you can opt for a 24" rear and a 26" front. If you are into the latest fashions and bike hype the 29" front and 27.5" rear will work for you. To workaround chainstay lengths and mis-matched wheel sizes the chainstay is adjustable (easily) by 10mm) which accomdates for the larger wheel sizes or simply just changing the feel of your bike. Geometry on the side remains static while just tweaking the rear for some clever adaptability to your favourite wheel size.
The MK12 301 is available with the standard 140mm rear travel supported by the RS Monarch DebonAir. 160mm linkage plates are available as on option.
