Better than factory
A good through axle replacement for quick releases found on front forks and 142mm rear drop outs. Blacklock has been machined from Al7075 T6 hard anodised and laser etched for long term durability. It's not only light at less than 30g but it features self lubricating washer on the hex side for smooth and secure fitting to almost any dropout style. It also features the hex socket on the threaded side so that you are not wasting torque in torsional deflection - this means you get more accurate torque. You do not compromise any stiffness or durability with the special tapered and butted design. Your bike looks cleaner and there is less bits to snag or damage when riding and crashing. Simply replace your old quick release and tighten with a 6mm wrench to around 8Nm-10Nm of torque.
