The Beaver 29" is made to cut through the nastiest offroad conditions. An open tread pattern allows mud to clear easily while still maintaining excellent traction on loose hardpack and even damp soil. A rounded profile allows predictable cornering and the side knobs hookup well in a wide range of conditions. Utilising Maxxis Dual Compound technology the side knobs are soft and grippy to hold wet roots and rocks with ease. When we say grippy we mean it, the Beaver uses a 50a compound on the side knobs which enable amazing cornering and a more durable 70a on the centre knobs fast rolling and good durability. The stabilised centre knobs perform well under hard braking and technical ascents. At 495g for the eXC version this makes the Beaver a seriously competitive tyre for the worst conditions you can throw at it.
