Utilising the Stans NoTubes Alpine rim, which easily lets you run a tubeless or tubed setup; Yellow tape and tubeless valve stems are required for a full tubeless setup. The NoTubes Alpine rim has the new generation of the patented BST, a smaller sidewall and wider rim cavity, helping to reduce pinch flats and provide a far more stable tire sidewall than conventional rim designs. The rim is pinned and welded, then CNC'd for a flawless sidewall finish.
Pillar butted aero spokes are strong and light, made from the highest quality swiss steel. Spokes are laced to the signature 12'Oclock hub which provide a silky smooth and fast rolling wheel. This wheelset is stiff and just just under 1300gram mark. Acceleration is lightning quick due to the low mass of the Alpine rims and stiff wide-flanged hubs. The aero spokes also help maintain a higher RPM by slicing through the air. The hard anodized hubs are silky smooth and provide quick engagement with a reasonably quiet freewheel but enough of a buzz to let the person in front know that your hot-on-their-tail. The hubs use 2-cartridge bearings in the front and 4-bearings in the rear. This is a high performance wheelset, for training or racing, strong, aero and light - without a killer price tag.

12o'Clock wheels are 100% hand built
Although its not the fastest way to build a wheel, every single 12o'Clock wheel is hand built and mechanically stress tested. All wheels are trued to a .2mm - .5mm tolerance before they leave the jig. Batch samples are stress tested with specialist test machines with 120kg's with over 4millions cycles.
