Made from 7075 aluminium, the Microclamp is strong durable and with an integrated sealing rubber lip keeps the gunk out of your frame. With the rise and popularity of dropper posts the quick release doesn't seem as necessary these days. You can set the Microlock and forget it, especially if you are running a Kind Shock LEV height adjustable post. Riding in the mud or on wet roads usually leaves the post / frame interface full of junk, come to to move or adjust your post there is that really nice gritty sound. The Microclamp seals off the top of the clamp and with a decent weight of 45g it can be even used on the road bike. A sleek design and the low key Raceblack finish doesn't colour clash.
