The newest member of the X0 family. For 2012 Avid has released it's first ever X0 labelled brakeset. New materials and new internals make this an ultra-high performing brake system. The forged aluminium caliper bodies dissipate heat and reduce weight, excess material has also been stripped on the caliper body. X0 detailling is subtle and available in Red or Black. Totally re-designed rotors, the heat shedding series rotors not only help reduce the heat but improve brake feel and modulation with the cross drilled pattern.
Levers are forged alloy featuring the new TaperBore internals with an updated bladder material to reduce air-permeability and the new airTrap design to help isolate and keep the air bubbles out of the system not only improving brake feel and performance but dramatically reducing bleed times. You can expect far longer service life and durability with this new system. Fully featured adjustments, a new detented Contact Point Adjuster and a reach adjuster allow you to perfectly dial your brake feel and modulation in a flash.
The X0 series brake levers are MatchMakerX compatibility which allows you to bolt your shifters, brake levers and even an X-Loc remote onto the one clamp, simplifying setup and minimising clutter. Available in with red or black accents.
