Fatigue reduction makes a huge difference on long rides and with the latest gravel bikes that are pushing the terrain to the limit, some can find the ride harsh. The eeSilk stem is unique with a switch that goes from firm to soft - say if you are riding road or spending a lot of time out of the saddle, you can flip the tiny switch on top and run it in firm mode for a traditional feeling stem. Once the terrain gets a bit more gnarly, you can flip the switch on the fly for extra comfort and control. It's by far one of the most versatile stems out there and all nice engineering and features the 'ee' products all come with.
The stem comes with 3 elastomers to work with your weight, which is easily replaced with a single bolt.
