The 301 has been around for 15yrs, it's been constantly revised and tweaked to be one of the best performing aluminium frames out there. It's straight lines and industrial look doesn't catch the eye like some brightly sparkled paint-job. But those that know their bikes can tell the Liteville 301 features some of the best details. The 301CE is the first carbon bike for Liteville and they have spent a ton of time in R&D getting their first ebike above and beyond what the current market offers. It still rides like a Liteville - super senstive over the chatter and a limitless kinematics that make you want to literailly climb and descent the steepest mountains.

Shimano's exceptional EP8 motor unit offers reliability and plenty of power to climb and ride all day. The smooth power transmission and the very solid carbon front triangle transmit to a very responsive ride. The rear shock gets a custom progressive coil-spring, because we all know how awesome a coil shock rides, Liteville has made a few tweaks to work with the extra weight and speed that you get when riding the 300CE

The 301CE gets the power port moved to the underside of the top tube to keep it free from mud and the battery can be popped out without the need for tools. The Eightpins integrated post uses a huge diameter upper for reliability and smooth action and a 220mm maximum dropper post size is a welcome sight.

WARRANTY POLICIES

Apart from the legally fixed 2-years warranty, Syntace GmbH offers a 10-years warranty for all material and manufacturing defaults. The only restriction is that all components had been mounted and used according to the Syntace and/ or Liteville instructions and manuals. Syntace repairs or replaces nothing but the individual component and only as long as this is according to its own warranty considerations.Be aware that in case an exchange is necessary, it is for free within the first 5 years. Thereafter, it is generally 50 % of the products price at the time.

EFFICIENT KINEMATICS

Liteville's has always had a focus on efficient pedaling dynamics and the new 301CE does not disapoint - but now we have a big Shimano EP8 motor driving 85Nm of torque the kinematics need to be tweaked slightly differently. The 301CE has a focus on traction and its clear with the use of the new custom progressive spring and custom tuned shock the 301CE will claw up some of the steepest climbs and offer a magic carpet ride for the trip back down.

BALANCED GEOMETRY

We are seeing a lot of new bikes hitting extreme geometry numbers - they might work well for paid professional riders that are on the limit all the time - but we are finding a lot of riders not being able to extract the full potential of their new bikes, especially those bikes with the really progressive geometry - there is definitely a steep learning curve to really get the benefit from them

The Liteville 301 has seen numerous iterations over the last decade, each one making it just a bit better - there has been been no radical jump in reach or chainstay lengths just tried and true performance that helps inspire confidence. Even if you want to ride on the ragged edge every day a bike that is comfortable and does not require radical weight shifting will always feel that much better

The 301CE strikes are real nice balance of new age progressive geometry with a 64.5º head angle, steep seat tube still yielding a very balanced and nimble ride that just makes this bike way more versatile. And the option of running 29". 27.5" or even mixed mullet bike makes this are really good option if you really love trying out new stuff.
