Oh man, eBikes are getting better and the new Crafty Carbon takes it to the next level - A sub 20kg weight, revised kinematics and the boosted Bosch G4 motor with the long range PT625Wh battery. You can feel the tingles just thinking about how much fun you will have with this machine.

Mondrakers' Forward Geometry hasn't always made sense to everyone, but in the eBike package it's the perfect spec it handles the extra speed and gives the most perfectly balanced feel with the extra weight o the down tube battery and low slung motor.

With the new and updated kinematics the Crafty Carbon has a nice and neutral anti-squat which means it cranks even when you are not assisted by the Bosch G4 motor, turn on some electric gas and this thing will tear up the gnarliest climbs faster than anyone - being 19.3kg also makes a solid difference to all the other eBikes out there.

Oh Yeah, no one will now you a riding an eBike because there is no humpback battery mount anywhere.

WARRANTY POLICIES

  1. Mondraker Warranty activation must be done through previous register via internet in www.mondraker.com in three months time at most after purchase date.
  2.  All no registered bikes will be subjected to minimum warranty conditions existing in the country of purchase. This warranty runs since purchase date for bicycles and frames which are bought since 2010 season, only applicable to original owner and it is not transferable. Previously, applicable warranty lasted for three years on full suspension bicycles and five on hard tail models, and it was only applicable to original owner.
  3.  All components, suspension forks and rear shock absorbers assembled in our bikes will be covered by manufacturer original warranty with the minimum required by the country of purchase legislation. 
  4. Frame paintwork warranty will last for two years. 
  5. Mondraker reserves the right to repair or replace defective frame as a whole or faulty part or specific piece in accordance with the valuation of its technical service. 
  6. All frames or parts subject to replacement in accordance to the stipulations contemplated in the warranty clauses, will be replaced by either the same frame or a similar one from the same year/collection until stocks last. In the event that there are no frames available from the specific same year/collection, it will be replaced by one from a subsequent year/collection meaning that both the shape, color and graphics of the new frame can be considerably different than the original frame. 
  7. All warranty processing must be done through an authorized Mondraker dealer, being necessary to submit proof of payment and web registration to models acquired since 2010 season.
  8. Authorized Mondraker dealers will follow the warranty procedure defined by Mondraker.

"On the flip side though, and perhaps more importantly, the Mondraker Crafty Carbon RR SL is far more energetic and lively on the trail. The lighter weight certainly improves the ability to throw the bike around more like a standard bike. Direction changes are effortless, and you have more control over either charging through terrain or skipping across it.


On heavier e-MTB’s you tend to ride them more like a downhill bike, hitting everything hard and allowing the suspension to soak everything up. The Mondraker’s rear end still has that plough-ability, but it’s also easy to hop over and skip across roots and rocks too. "

Overall, the Crafty RR’s performance level is extremely high. The chassis feels solid without being too stiff, and it pedals exceptionally smoothly with minimal bob or interaction, even with maximum assistance.
With all of the revisions to the Zero linkage the rear suspension is really well rounded, gobbling up smaller hits and swallowing massive impacts with a smooth progressive feel that’s hard to bottom out

Not just hidden cable housing - the whole routing has been designed with the ram cooling ports in mind. The special headset has the entry points which slip down in the head tube and stealthily to the back of the bike. It means its way easy to clean when you've ridden hard and there is non of that annoying cable rub that ruins your bike in the first ride!

Tidying up the cable routing allows for specific ram air ports to cool the battery and motor, that means more durability and power even when your cranking in the summer heat. The Crafty Carbon gets the new Bosch G4 motor with control LCD and the 625Wh battery gives you a ton of range, so you can really head out for some all-day back country adventures.
