The Crafty is bigger and better, suitable for rough technical descents and long climbs. The Bosch GEN4 Performance CX line motor produces 85Nm of torque giving plenty of assist to clear those steep tricky climbs. A 625Wh battery integrated perfectly into the down tube will give you plenty of range for all day rides or quick powerful blasts after work.
The geometry follows closely to the Dusk and Chaser, but the spec is what pushes the Crafty into the burlier category. The new FOX 38 160mm with a specific e-bike tune big SRAM Code R 4-pot brakes and Maxxis Minion DHR/DHF II tyres. The extra weight (24.6kg)over the Dusk is not really noticed with the powerful and smooth Bosch Gen4 motor.
Nice touches like the Bosch Kiox display / computer, refined Zero Suspension and the forever stable Forward Geometry set the Crafty aside from other eBikes on the market. When it gets wild and spicy, the longer reach and slack head angle really keep it in check - the Crafty just loves the extra speed you can collect on assisted bikes.
Climbing is comfortable with the steep 76º - sit down and grind or stand and mash the smooth power assist and good geometry make climbs fun not a chore.
Flip the switch and head down, you will be rewarded with huge amounts of stability - exactly what you want in a big ebike. Updated kinematics offer supple off the top rear suspension and great mid-stroke support for blasting berms.
