Looking for a crankset with a low q-factor and some of the lowest weights around? The Extralite QRC-2 is the latest version which is full featured and still one of the lightest aluminium cranks on the market.
The QRC-2 has been heavily machined reducing weight but also allowing a very narrow q-factor. Extralite uses a very sophisticated 3D cnc process that allows flexibility in multi-dimensional shaping - the backside of the cranks feature Extralite's unique Stress Split Profile which maintains ribbing and ridging to maintain the required stiffness - And with FE Analysis this shaping can affirm the very high stiffness levels.
Another neat feature the QRC2 are compatible with almost every type of bottom bracket design while still utilizing the same stiff 27mm axle. They come with a special designed bottom bracket - also built by Extralite, which contains special 6806 2Rs oversized bearings which are lighter than standards and feature low friction seals.
Easy to install and maintain with the included bearing preload tool and easy replacement of bottom bracket bearings.
Chainrings are not included - You can fit any compact or mid compact chainrings that suit 110BCD.
