The Extralite HyperCamber takes a radical approach to solving the problem of weak and flexy rear wheels - The rear hub features a huge CNC'd flange that boosts bracing angles by 10% - compared to a Extralite HyperRear hub which is already ridiculously stiff. The flange not only raises the bracing angles but balances Driveside and Nondrive tension for more even tension which translates to seriously sharp acceleration under power and superb tracking over rough terrain. With a weight of 1230g - These are one of the lightest Alu 27.5" wheels currently on the market.
The Extralite Hubs have always been a gem - and in this combo they just work to build up a perfectly performing wheelset. They feature oversized axles and flanges which transfer braking forces efficiently to the rims and spokes. Maintenance is so easy with the Micro -Tuner which easily adjusts bearing preload
Stans ZTR Crest is one of the most popular rims available, they are easy to air up tubeless and they have good consistent performance. Rims are laced to Pillar MegaLite Ti with 32h on the rear and 28h front - for a perfect balance of weight and stiffness. 15mm QR for the front and all hub standards for the rear
