Quiver Killer
The high performing XT groupset brings value and performance to this versatile trail bike. Low weights and top range fork and shock make this a really good option for owning a Ripley.
Ultra nimble 29er now available in a longer and slacker version of the original Ripley. The head angle has been slackened out to 67.5º from 69.2º and the reach pushed out to 411mm (medium) which makes this 29er super stable and plowable on the roughest terrain.
Unlike the general pool of 29ers, the Ripley has always been a quick and nimble handling trail bike - it also pedals exceptionally well with the DW-Link suspension system. Now Ibis has made it longer and slacker while still maintaining the quick, fun and nimble feel. Smiles for miles
A 120mm chassis which can be paired with 120-140mm forks makes this a really versatile option for aggressive trail riders. The stiff frame, longer reach and 29" wheels makes for some fun rock garden plowing and you know that the climb back to the top is going to be just as fun - the DW Link and steep seat angle just work really well together.
Clearance for 2.35" tyres and combined with some wide wheels like the Ibis Carbon 971s boosts traction and stability in corners. And speaking of Boost, the new Ripley LS has a Boost 148 rear end for added stiffness and wheel compatibility.
Built up as a lightweight XC bike it rips but will handle hard, fast and technical trails with ease. The Ripley's clean lines and updated eccentrics improves durability of an already great bike
So if you are after 29er that can be built light, ridden on aggro trails yet still flick-able and fun - just like smaller travel 650b bikes - The Ripley LS is for you.
