Not your typical composite pedal. It has a convex (as opposed to the concave) shape which works with the natural arch of your foot while the pin height keeps your foot clear of the spindle which can definitely get slippery on aluminium pedals. It's also one of the large composite pedals out there. There is lots of machine work on the outer and inner edges of pedal to enhance the grip even more, which is so nice when you don't get that shoe perfectly aligned on the pins first go.
Chamfered leading edges helps shrug off those rock strikes and being a nylon composite it does seem to absorb heavy whacks. Back fed replaceable pins are skinny enough to bite down on your shoes
Bearings can be removed and replaced easily with basic tools. Well priced, durable and 5 chilli MTBR reviews.
