It would be hard to build yourself a better wheelset, everything is top-shelf and the result is a frothing 1367g. Forget all the glamour for the moment - choosing a wheelset for your bike is usually a balance of how aero to how much weight. Let's be honest a deep profile wheelset feels absolutely amazing on the flats and chasing down (or dropping) the bunch but most options can get pretty weighty and you will feel it on the climbs if you are pushing your limits.
The Schwarzbrenner 45 weighs a pitiful 1367g, obviously with some tricked out gear to get it there. Like the Tune Princess and Prince hubs, carbon end caps and ceramic bearings. Sapim CX-Ray ( the ones you would use on your own high end build) and Tune's own Schwarzbrenner 45 full carbon rim. My Word do they look good
The rim's are also special they are specially robot braided to create an efficient layup without the errors of manually laying up carbon (AI is coming!) - They are strong and reliable even when you are blasting down sketchy neglected roads.
The 45mm rim profile shrugs off cross winds and cuts through the air with very little effort and these will climb without you ever thinking your wheels are too heavy. Chuck on a 33mm tyre for a heavenly smooth ride.
