Got Delays?
Its not common to hear that there are some serious supply and delay issues going on with the bike industry at the moment. You'll hear its related to the pandemic, higher demand, increase in oil prices etc. It's not actually one single thing, more of a combination of ingredients that create an over baked cake.
We are seeing the delays are more common with the larger bike and component brands who are rushing to catch up to the extra demand, reduced production rates and backlogged logistics. Some of the bigger brands are pushing 6months to 12 months for new stock. It's not a bad time to upgrade your current bike with parts that are available now.

Noel Buckley from Knolly also writes about the challenges in the supply chain. While there has been some delays with Knolly's, we are still getting hold of bikes with 2-3month lead times.
