NEILPRYDE saw every tube as an opportunity to manage the wind and not just in a straight line which is common thought, but at wide yaw angles that help assist in the rock solid stability of this bike. The pinched head tube is tapered to 1.5" and flares at the base to create a smooth interface with the wide stance fork which aid in the precise handling of the ALIZE. A design collaboration with BMW Group DesignworksUSA and PRO input from the United Healthcare Pro Cycling team, the ALIZE is as close as it gets to a do-it-all bike. NEILPRYDE's special layup of carbon in the rear triangle which NP refer to as OTP Comfort helps reduce vibrations and harshness that is far too common with aero frames.

A heavily shaped downtube, not only provides stiffness but carefully manages laminar and turbulent airflow and the extended Kamm-tail design smooths airflow over the bottom bracket junction which continues back to the aero shaped seat and chainstays. The bottom bracket is massive, and plays a major role in the responsiveness of the ALIZE. The bottom bracket uses the PF30 standard and gear housing are all routed internally, the rear brake line is routed through the top tube. All bikes come with the a NEILPRYDE carbon aero seatpost which is secured in the frame with the Q-fit clamp, the frame cannot accept any conventional seatpost. The NAZARɠis finished in matte black with raw UD sections and the typical NEILPRYDE blue.
