This fork is pure heaven.
This years Revelation brings some great new features to the table to make this a super universal fork for all kinds of trail duties. The biggest change is the new MotionalControl DNA damper which makes this fork smoother and more responsive on that the previous years combined with the new Dual Position travel adjust which allows 30mm of on-the-fly travel adjumstment makes this a wicked fork for almost every type of terrain and riding style. The MotionControl DNA damper now opens up 3 "platform" settings, full-open, threshold and lockout which allows you to customise your low speed compression on the fly with just a single flick of the crown adjuster. Say you decide to ride some tame xc trails, you can easily drop the fork by 30mm, and set the MotionControl DNA to "threshold" in less than 5seconds and be on your way for some hot laps. It's hard to go past the simple servicing of the Rock Shox forks and ample amounts of travel and drop out options - it makes it an easy choice when you are trying to find the right spec for your build up. Tuneability has also been a big plus for the Revelation line up, positive and negative springs allow you to tune the ride you want either tuning in small bump sensitive or allowing the fork to be firm in the initial stroke. Ridiculously low weights (1534g) make this a viable option for an XC rig, light enough for race day but definitely tough enough to ride all day long on some of your favourite chopped up trails.
The XX models are now available with the XLoc remote which integrates nicely with MatchMaker compatible shifters and brake lever. The RCT3 models are available with the new crown mounted adjust (MotionControl DNA), PushLoc kits are optional if you wish to run a remote lockout on any of the RCT3 models. There is an absolute ton of options this year for the Revelation so we will dissminate some of them.
