The Helix cassette was designed to work with both high end SRAM and Shimano drivetrains - so whatever your reason for choosing one or the other, you can just chuck the Helix cassette on your bike and get an increase in range and a little more top-end with the 9tooth high cog. It performs flawlessly with SRAM and Shimano drivetrains allowing you to pick and choose your drivetrain parts as you prefer and not being sucked into one system (blackholes). Increased range in the rear cassette, means you can drop down a chainring size at the front - This gives a bit more clearance over step ups and a small drop in weight.
It's cut and shaped ridiculously well and weighs only 345g which is the lightest in it's class. What's also great about the E13 cassettes is that sections can be replaced as needed saving money (and reducing a little bit of waste)
Checkout the intergalactic colour - It's a special coating that offers twice the durability over standard. Physical Vapor Deposition or PVD is a process of coating an object with with a thin durable film at a molecular level. This is what increases the durability of the 2 larger rings - So if you do spend a lot of time climbing and shifting around the top side of your cassette the Intergalactic colour is worthwhile.
